What is a Guardianship?
In the unfortunate event that your loved became incapacitated before preparing the necessary documents (Financial and/or Health Care Powers of Attorney) that direct his/her choices, and the person becomes unable to care for their own personal, medical and financial matters, a guardianship may be needed. A guardian is a person, usually a family member or close friend, appointed by the court to oversee the personal and/or financial needs of an incapacitated person.
Michael is an attorney available to help you obtain guardianship over your elderly or special needs family members or other loved ones. He will assist you from initial petition through obtaining the order appointing you as guardian.
