Giordano Elder Law participated in Spring Art Walk and Wine Tasting event. Proceeds from art sales were donated to the local chapter of the Alzheimers Association.
May 10, 2014 – MECHANICSBURG, Pa. – Michael Giordano, attorney at Giordano Elder Law, along with James Hockenberry of The Bridges of Bent Creek, A Senior Living Community here in Mechanicsburg, displayed artwork created by The Bridges’ residents during the Spring Art and Wine Walk in Downtown Mechanicsburg this past weekend. The event was sponsored by the Downtown Mechanicsburg Partnership and the Mechanicsburg Chamber of Commerce.
Donna Ennis, Administrative Assistant at Giordano Law, remarked, “This is becoming an event everyone in town looks forward to and even a little rain didn’t stop them from coming out to drink some wine, hear some music and admire the work of many talented artists. We served four different wines and paired them with a few home made treats and some snacks from one of our newest shops in town, The Jerky Jar. YUM! We displayed artwork from a surprisingly gifted community of seniors and raised money for a very worthy cause.”
Pam Fleck, of The American Artisan Gallery was also on hand to show off her shops’ wares and she even did a live demonstration of her own artistic skills.
The community support for this event did not disappoint. It’s a fun way to get together with friends and neighbors while getting to meet the downtown business owners in a more personal way. There is typically one in the Spring and another in the Fall.
