February 2011 — MICHAEL C. GIORDANO RECEIVES ACCREDITATION TO ASSIST VETERANS WITH CLAIMS FOR VA BENEFITS
Mechanicsburg, PA– Filing for benefits as a disabled Veteran often goes beyond filing a claim to the Regional Veterans’ Affairs Office. If the initial claim application is denied, which is not unusual, an elaborate appeals process must be undertaken.
In 2010, Charles Grassley of Iowa, a key Senator on the Senate Finance Committee, said that figures cited in a recent case argued before the Supreme Court showed that between 50 percent and 70 percent of VA benefits claims had been unjustifiably denied.
“The fact that the VA’s decisions are not only overturned on appeal frequently, but that a majority of claims were so wrongly decided in the first place shows me that there are serious, systemic problems with the process for approving veterans’ claims,” said Grassley. “The VA needs to tackle this problem head on, because without substantial reform, thousands of veterans will continue to face needless delays and red tape.”
Michael C. Giordano, Attorney & Counselor at Law proudly announces Michael’s recent accreditation as a Department of Veterans Affairs Attorney, which now qualifies him to assist disabled American veterans from every branch of the United States military, including the Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force and National Guard, with the preparation, presentation and prosecution of claims for benefits before the Veterans Administration (VA.)
“It is clear that Veterans in this area are in need of qualified and accredited VA Benefits Attorneys, and I’m pleased that I am now in a position to be of service to help our military veterans,” says Giordano .
Giordano adds, “There are various programs offered by the VA to help veterans and I am here to assist with guiding them through the maze. We welcome those interested in learning more to contact us for a confidential evaluation.”
