In 2007, after years of working in New York City in the banking industry and then for a select number of large law firms, I opened my own Elder Law Firm to serve the needs of families, seniors, incapacitated individuals and their loved ones in the Blauvelt area of Rockland County, NY and then the Mechanicsburg area of Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. I am available to visit clients in their homes across South Central and Eastern PA and in NY, when necessary, for their convenience. My practice focuses on Elder Law including Estate Planning, Probate, Trusts, Powers of Attorney, Wills and Estates and Guardianships. In addition to being a lawyer, I am also a Nationally Certified Guardian and have an MBA in Finance.
Prior to opening my own offices in Blauvelt, NY, and then in Mechanicsburg, PA, I spent nearly 20 years combined at the New York City offices of several large multinational law firms as well as a mid-sized Insurance boutique firm. Prior to that experience, I worked for a Reinsurance broker and several NY money center banks. In those roles I provided counsel to various financial institutions, predominantly insurance companies and banks, on a variety of matters including regulated business transactions, regulatory compliance, privacy matters, licensing, strategic business planning, and development of regulatory and legislative policies. I also represented insurers before various state insurance regulators, including compliance and market conduct matters.
In addition to my elder law practice in PA and NY, I am a NY Court Examiner for various cases in the Guardianship Part of the New York 9th Judicial District.
I am a member, and past President, of the local Mechanicsburg Chamber of Commerce. Read my bio from the Chamber.
I am a family man, people person, an avid football fan (Go Jets!), baseball fan (go Mets!), animal lover, devoted grandfather and, last but certainly not least, a man of faith. I have a heart for caring for the elderly and incapacitated. In my spare time I can be found doting on my children and grandchildren, tinkering in my garage or basement where I have many projects going on including restoring antique radios and watches. I also enjoy renovating my historic office building in Mechanicsburg PA, which is always a work in progress. I am a member of a local amateur ham radio club and self-professed nerd.
